Biography: Cheryl Asher grew up in Eagle River, Alaska and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 1985. She graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. After being admitted to the California Bar in 1991, Cheryl moved to San Jose, California where she worked for 10 years with a firm specializing in Worker’s Compensation Insurance Defense and Subrogation.
In 2001, Cheryl and her family moved to McKinney, Texas where she was admitted in 2002 to the State Bar of Texas. In 2004, she joined the Silvera Firm where she handled workers compensation insurance defense cases. She was with the Silvera Firm from 2004 to 2007.
In 2007, Cheryl began to practice Real Estate Finance and Litigation. In 2008, she became licensed in the State of Nevada. For 10 years she handled complex Real Estate issues in the state of California, Nevada and Texas.
In 2018, Cheryl returned to the Silvera Firm where she continues to practice administrative law and civil litigation. She is actively licensed in California, Nevada and Texas.
